Carla Cavanagh

 

Retired after 25 years of service as a firefighter paramedic, Carla Cavanagh is eager to focus her attention on massage therapy, specifically myofascial release. Trained to the Expert Level in the John Barnes technique of MFR, she confidently draws upon her extensive background to offer a unique approach to bodywork.  She received her initial massotherapy training at Ohio College of Massotherapy and has been licensed since 1999.

 

She became certified as a physician assistant in 1997 and was educated at Cuyahoga Community College. She has trained with Alice Langholt on the level of Reiki Master. She has recently completed Level 1 training in Trauma and Tension Releasing Exercises as developed by David Berceli. Besides  continuing to serve in the military for over 30 years, she also treats veterans through   WarriorRecoveryNetwork.org, a passion she continues here at Insight. She looks forward to offering her services to those struggling with acute or chronic pain, stress to include PTSD, as well as individuals seeking to simply improve their overall health and wellbeing, in body, mind and spirit.
