Jared WestJared West was trained in acupuncture at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio.  He graduated summa cum laude in August of 2008. He has been studying Chinese Medicine for over 15 years beginning with an apprenticeship to a Taoist priest in 1991.  Jared teaches Tai Qi (pronounced "tie chee") and Qi Gung (pronounced chee gung).  These forms help to cultivate internal energy and can be powerful tools for promoting healing and maintaining good health.  Jared is also a second generation acupuncturist; his mother, Karen Young, is the president of the Idaho Acupuncture Association.
