Elisabeth A. Goodman, Ph.D., NCSP is a licensed school psychologist who has been in practice for 18 years. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of learning, developmental, emotional and attention disorders. She is Director of the Galvin Education and Resource Center for Families (GERCF), a non-profit dedicated to helping families with children with disabilities. Dr. Goodman’s career began in Cincinnati, OH where she worked at Head Start (Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky). She also serviced the Hearing Impaired Units of the Hamilton County Office of Education. While there she provided counseling and social skills training for the students. She also served as the Behavioral Consultant for 13 Multiple Handicapped classrooms. After moving to Syracuse, NY she served as a school psychologist in a fully-inclusive school with 42 children having varying degrees of autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Tourette 's Syndrome or Down Syndrome. Since moving back to Cleveland she has been working with a clinical neuropsychologist in private practice. Dr. Goodman joins Insight Learning and Wellness Center to advance her service to children and families by developing a holistic psychology practice.
