A Cleveland area summer camp will teach children confidence, patience, self-control and how to make healthy choices. No macaroni necklaces, here. At Camp Insight, children create lots of art and music, as well as take part in yoga, challenging games, Tae Kwon Do, and positive self esteem exercises. The hope is greater confidence and less stress.

CLEVELAND--Become a stronger parent and a healthier, happier you! Cleveland's Insight Learning and Wellness Center is offering a new program called Dynamic Parents. Developed by Michelle Martin, Ed.S., School Psychologist and Director of the center, the class goal is to create peaceful, healthy families. It includes important new research on nutrition, exercise, reducing stress, building bonds and communicating in better ways.

Founder of Insight Learning & Wellness Center, Michelle Martin, was a featured guest on Kaleidoscope, a public affairs program on WEWS TV-5 hosted by Leon Bibb. Along with Integrated Psychiatrist Lynn Klimo, MD, Michelle discussed the trend towards integrating conventional western medicine with natural, more holistic therapies that have been proven to work.

Can martial arts help children with learning disabilities?

Michelle Martin is a psychologist and instructor at Insight Learning and Wellness Center in Cleveland. She teaches Tae Kwon Do to students who have ADHD, autism, Asperger's Syndrome and she has seen improvement in their focus and social skills.
| She says the martial arts teach self control and concentration. She teaches children 6 to 18 years old. It is a combination of group therapy and martial arts. The center takes a holistic approach instead of turning to medicine for children. |

The small group of boys forms a semi-circle around tae kwon do instructor and licensed school psychologist Michelle Martin.
On this quiet Saturday morning, they attend class at Insight Learning & Wellness Center in Warrensville Heights.
Complicated and exhaustive kicks, jumps, blocks and punches will follow. But right now, the center’s director and founder quietly counsels about bullying.
